PA Cyber... special delivery!

PA Cyber - The Pennsylvania Cyber School

June is officially enrolled in PA Cyber's Pre-K program and the ball has started rolling in terms of hearing from PA Cyber and recieving letters, etc.  Well.... this morning there was a loud knock on the door and I had to sign for this box.  Mmmmm ok.  I wasn't expecting a package but maybe it's a gift (that's always fun!).

Nope.

It was my four year old's laptop, all-in-one printer and ink, and his electronic notepag thinger.  Um, yeah.

Go PA Cyber. I know I'm supposed to be all "I want to Catholic homeschool and have each and every ounce  of his schooling be dripping with Catholicism" and where I do love my faith, this PA Cyber secular deal is seeming pretty sweet.

Now!  I need to get June a desk set up and an area that we can have designated for his schooling.  From what I understand, a LOT more supplies will be headed our way for our little home school. :)

Cool beans.  Bring it on!

My friend Jen just did that for her girls this past year... one in 1st, the other in K. Do you also get a 'stipend' to do an extracurricular? She loved the packages, too... and her husband loved using the girls' electronics! ;)

From what I understand we will get $75 towards extracurricular activities and they are opening a "satellite office" in Allentown where they will have "study hours" for older kids, music classes, etc that they kids can go to and interact with other cyber schoolers. We also get some cash towards our internet bill. I'm hoping that I like the curriculum because the whole programs seems awesome and well run! Time will tell. ;)
