On the way to church last week, June asked me if the man in the yellow hat, grew George in his belly. Because George is just like the man in the yellow hat's kid.
I explained that boys don't grow babies in their bellies... only girls can.
Then he asked if he didn't grow George in his belly, how did he get George?
I wasn't sure on how to adopt a monkey so I kind of scrambled on that one. How did the man in the yellow hat get George? I'm obviously not up to date. :P

You may want to censor slightly for June - but my understanding of it from the books/movies we have about George is this:
The man in the yellow hat found him in the jungle, set down his hat and when George (being curious) went to check it out, the man caught him and brought him home.
I only say censor because it might not be best to encourage our kids to try and steal monkeys for pets ; )
