15 more weeks until baby arrives. :)
I am finally FINALLY feeling decent. The tiredness has left (at least the I-need-to-sleep-NOW fatigue feeling) and the headaches are inconsistent. WOO HOO! I had daily headaches from 14 until 24 weeks, so I'm so thankful that they are an every-few-day occurrence and not daily. I feel like I can start to enjoy the pregnancy since it doesn't feel like such a chore to be pregnant anymore. Phew!
I had a Dr appointment this week. Baby is measuring right on track and her heartbeat was 148 bpm. My blood pressure was low (102/76), which for me is where it should be! I asked about little miss baby not moving a lot and my Dr laughed at me and reassured me that she is in there and thriving. :) I think she's my calmest belly baby yet. Time will tell if that signifies that she will be a mellow out-of-womb baby too. :) Actually, I tend to have mellow babies (yes, even Josh... he was my calmest until about 8 months) so maybe she will come out and follow suit. :) That would be nice. :)
I don't feel huge yet. Though actually, I get plenty of comments... yes people, 4 major pregnancies in 6 years would tend to make things stretch and pop sooner than average. Thankyouverymuch. I am already looking forward to meeting her too. I feel ready for a baby in the house. Don't get me wrong, things are still bonkers here, but I suspect that as long as I have little ones under foot, things will be crazy and loud and there isn't much that will change that. My kids aren't passive. Chances are, by the time it *is* quiet here, I will wish that there were little people around to play and read to and have under foot. So, I've stopped waiting for things to be calm here in order for life to progress to the next phase... I think chaos is part of the beauty of our life with little ones. I'm not wishing away the next few months, but it puts a smile on my face to think of meeting her and soaking in her teeniness. There is nothing more special than a newborn. :)
For now I have my glucose test to look forward to in 3 weeks and then an appointment in 5 (we will be at the beach when my next appointment *should* be)... After my 30 week appointment we switch to every 2 week appointments (32, 34, 36 weeks) and then click into the weekly ones (37,38,39,40). Things tend to zoom once you are off of the monthly appointments so I am gearing up for that.
I suppose that's it for now. Baby is growing and growing, which is her primary job now.. keep it up little lady! See you in 15 weeks!
