Meal Plan: 3/23-3/29

This is my first ever meal plan post.  Admittedly, my ultimate fatal flaw as a mom/homemaker/wife is my lack of desire to cook.  I can cook.  I even enjoy it... sometimes.  I find drudgery in cooking daily and, blah, give my closets to organize or laundry to do, floors to vacuum and I'm golden, but make me cook 3 meals a day, EVERY day and I start to pout.

Every Lent we give up all "out" food.  If it's not homemade, we don't eat it.  It's fairly hardcore especially since it's my weakness.  My thought is that if I can plan, and shop more often... dare I say weekly, and then put my plans here it will 1. Keep me accountable and 2. Keep records of planned weeks, thus making future weeks easier!

This week looks like this:

Sunday: Easy Slow Cooker Beef & Mushrooms over rice with a salad

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Shepard's Pie

Wednesday: Angel Chicken over linguini with a salad

Thursday: Left Overs, Nuggets & Fries, or Grilled Cheese & Soup

Friday: Pizza from a kit

Saturday: Oven Fajitas & Black Beans and Rice
