I want to record like, everything, so I can look back and well, I'm not doing a good job at that. Like at all. My last post was about being busy and nothing has changed there.
Here's what we HAVE been doing in the last month:
May 2, 2015 June celebrated his First Holy Communion
It was a beautiful day. The Mass and sacrament were wonderful and we had a nice little brunch and playtime at the park afterward. Perfect perfect perfect.
| This is the reality of big family life, ya'll. |

| My parents & June |
Jim played a gig in town with his band, Civilian. My brother, Jimmy, and sister-in-law, Jess, as well as my brother, Mark, and his girlfriend, Melanie, came too. It was a really fun night. My dad was my DD. Fun times. :P
We took a family trip up to this creek to picnic and play. So much fun. I love outings like this. This is my absolute favorite thing to do with the kids.
Annie still rocks. I know I haven't blogged about her a ton, which really is a shame because you forget the small babyhood details SO FAST. To re-cap, Annie has the most mellow and serene personality, ever. She's happy and delightful, but she is just a relaxed, go with the flow, chill child. Nothing really rattles her. It's been a huge blessing to have a baby like Annie. I totally and completely understand how lucky I am to raise a temperament like hers.
Big ole black eye for June, courtesy of his brother's skull.
Baseball continues...
Sibling squabbles never stop. Not ever or ever or ever...
Jim and I celebrated our nine year Anniversary. No photo of that, but it did happen.
Elizabeth had her very first dance recital. She did amazingly well. So well. SO WELL. She wasn't fearful or clingy. She took it very seriously and went out there, performed and is as in love with dance as ever. She's so ready to start dance again come October.
We got family photos done and they are AMAZING! I will do a post where I just post all of them... soon!
My child caught a bird because of course my child would catch a bird.
Last day of school arrived and we took a trip up to Great Wolf Lodge.
Don't forget summer ice cream.
This week wraps up the baseball season. Dance was over as of the night of the recital. PREP ended for June at First Communion. School is out. Summer officially officially starts for us this week, leaving the days open and free and the night relaxed and loose.
Ahhhhhhhhh.... ::pops on sunglasses and sits back::
Oh wait, I'm starting a certification course to be a birth doula starting July 6th. HA! The kids' schedules may have simmered, but mine will be super charged this Summer. I love it. Beautiful timing too, all our scheduled events that keep us moving non-stop are ending right as I am beginning the next leg in my adventure. I have a post in my drafts which chronicles how I decided to be a doula. It's a God thing, but yeah, I totally feel called to stand along women while they bring life into the world, making that experience as positive, memorable, calm, and fulfilling as possible. It's not enough to birth my own babies, now I'm going to start helping others birth theirs. I'm so excited.
