She also enjoyed pulling open my bottom dresser drawers and pulling each item of clothing out one by one until the drawer is empty. She's adorably cute and I love this stage.
Annie is eating any solids now... she gets bits of whatever we eat. She LOVES food and hasn't turned her nose up at anything yet.
She also adores her daddy. Our babies usually don't have a super in-depth relationship with Jim until about 18 months or so (usually when the next baby comes, haha), but Annie is taken with him. If she sees Jim, she gets all smiley and wants him over me. Unheard of! I love it though. I love seeing this itty bitty daddy's girl. I know the feeling well.
Also, the hair. I cannot CANNOT get over her blonde hair. Her blue eyes are exciting and fun, but I have blue eyes and while they rock, they aren't rare. Her yellow bleach blonde hair, I can't get over. I know people have blonde hair, but my people don't! It's really cool to see pure blonde hair. I was blonde for a few years of my childhood, but as an actual dirty-blonde/light-brown girl her yellow hair is WILD to me. I picture her like 40 with yellow hair. Her eyelashes and brows are just as light. So cool.
She's also so darn happy. So happy. She giggly and smiley and pleasant. Everyone should have an Annie. Within a month or so I will be planning her first birthday in months after that she will morph out of a baby and into a toddler. BUT BUT BUT for now she is most certainly a baby and I am enjoying every ounce of it.
Annelise Maureen, I'm so happy you are here. You are such an awesome piece of our family.

Oh the legos! I put Peter down earlier today and he started crawling as fast as he could towards something... It was a Lego girl! They know what contraband is worth having and they go for it!
