Autumn Outings

While Summer is my favorite time of the year: light airy clothes, warm days, park trips... perfection, Autumn is a close second.  The mild temperatures and rhythm of the school year back in place makes for a not-too-shabby pattern of life.  We don't do nearly as many outings as we do in Summer, but playdates and pumpkin patches fill many mornings.

The two most recent bigger outings were to Hershey on Columbus Day and the pumpkin patch with my girls this week.  Hershey is one of my favorite road-trip destinations.  We pack in the car and in just over an hour, we are in Hershey.

We head to Chocolate World and ride the ride a few times and see the sights and smells of Chocolate World.  The kids love it.

After that we grab lunch and head to Cocoa Castle Park where the kids get some energy out before returning home.   I love love love our Hershey trips!

This week, we hit Savidge Farms for a hayride, pumpkin picking, and farm fun with a MOPS group.  They have corn boxes, hay bales and tractors to climb, mini-golf, and a few other kid-friendly options.

Fun was had by all.  I'm trying to soak in these fun days before they are replaced with chilly temperatures, months of being house-bound, and flu season.

Squeezing in a few more Autumn outings is hopefully in the books before Winter temperatures come!
