The BIG 2016 room switch: Boy edition

It happened.... the BIG room switch.  

We have three bedrooms and the split-up was as follows: 

Master bedroom (closet): Annie

Small Bedroom: Emily

Big bedroom: June, Josh, Eliz

Annie needs to get booted from my room so I was thinking where to move her and what to do when I got a huge burst of motivation to finally do the boy/girl split.  

The rooms will now look like this: 

Master bedroom: NO KIDS

Small bedroom: June & Josh

Big bedroom: Eliz, Emily, Annie

I got to planning and painting and have the boys' room officially done.  It's not Pottery Barn, but I am love love LOVING their space.

Granted, I loved both rooms, but giving the boys a space that is theirs and more freedom is wonderful.  Before, I only allowed clothing, bedding, and books in their room.  Now they have a desk and can store any of their goodies in that room, away from the little girls.  The love having their own space and it's such a cozy room.  

The girls' room is almost done... a few more finishing touches and I will share that too!
