Mr. Joshua Jude was baptized on November 29th, 2008.

We were beyond happy to welcome him into the Church and Josh didn't seem to have any beef. ;o) He was good the entire ceremony and didn't even wimper when the water was poured on his head. What a good boy!

Josh's Godparents are his Aunt Laura and Uncle Jake. :o)

As a parental side note: Jim and I were thrilled. We're Catholic... however, we go to the old school Traditional Latin Mass weekly and were married in a Traditional Latin Ceremony. Fittingly (is that a word?), we were able to have the "Extraordinary Form" for Josh's baptism. Basically, he had an old school baptism like they would have done prior to 1962 in the Catholic Church. Father Seifert followed the older version of the baptism, BUT said the ceremony in English!! June was baptism with the Latin ceremony too, but was said in Latin... which is the norm. Father Seifert did the old ceremony but in English so you could really see the significance of it and hear the amazing wording. :o) We were pleased!
