I'm stepping in with a bit of exciting news.
June has been sleeping in his toddler bed successfully for the last 4 months. However, he still napped in his crib. He perfered it when asked and would play if I tried to put him for his nap in bed.
Three days ago something changed. I don't know how it happened but I asked where he wanted to take his nap and he excitedly went over to his bed. So I tucked him in, read him a book, and he napped here. He didn't get out, he didn't play, he didn't whine... he slept!
This is day 3 of bed napping and I couldn't be happier! If this keeps up, the crib is officially Josh's soon... Good timing seeing as Josh is 3 months next week and will be out of his bassinet in about a month or so.
Our next dilemma will be to move the crib into our room or have the boys room together... even though Josh still wakes up at night.
Eh. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. For now I've hurdled one more mommy milestone and I'm happy.
