It's great to see June understand SO MUCH and speaking better and better. He amazes me with his concentration, effervescence, and love for certain things: balls, blocks, puzzles, and books. YAY! None of those go "beep" or light up with some form of annoying music and mindless play. They are all "toys" that will stimulate June, teach him and allow him to grow in either skill, mental-ness (yeah, I have a teaching degree), or imagination. I approve and June LOVES them.
He's getting pretty good at his blocks...

And loves curling up with a book or twelve...

And is actually learning a few letters... maybe that's typical for his age, I don't know but I'm proud of him! He came up to me with a 4 from his one puzzle. It was turned up-side-down and he excitedly exclaimed, "h!!!!!!" It was too cute that I just agreed. It did look like a boxy "h" in his defense.
To say the least it'll be interesting to watch June grow and learn. I like this motherhood thing.
