Update on Elle

Elizabeth Marie is 7 weeks old so I thought I would plug in a post about her and how life is going.

She is an absolute doll.  She's calm and serene and wonderful.  Elizabeth still sleeps a LOT which is fine by me, but even when she is awake she is mellow.  She loves her mommy, daddy, and brothers. What a blessing.

I'll admit that I was frazzled when we found out we were expecting.  Josh was 10 months at the time and it was a big pill to swallow that I'd be throw into morning sickness and all the woes of pregnancy so soon. Gah! Her pregnancy was hard. Daily headaches, constant nausea for 18-20 weeks, crazy fatigue.  Then once that mellowed we had house problems again and again and again.  Then we started dealing with tracking down Josh's allergies.  Then we got rotavirus. Then she was born. It was a whirlwind and I really don't think I got to enjoy much of her pregnancy.  But let me tell you, I am enjoying her... fully and completely. I love that little pink angel. :)

Her brothers are doing great with her too.  June is still a good helper and Josh just enjoys her.  Anytime I put her on a blanket on the floor he flocks over and lays by her. It's great. The adjustment has been harder but I'm blessed. We are blessed.

And to prove my princess isn't an absolute angel and can cry... here is a photo for kicks. :)

Look how ticked she is. :) Short lived I'm sure, but you can see the drama that may follow in future years. ;)
