This morning we got a call from a friend of ours... their baby is making his entrance at some point today. Their water broke about an hour ago and they have a long exciting, excruciating day ahead of them. They will feel more joy and love than they ever have on this very day. I'm excited for them.
Hearing about new life... what a great way to start the day. New life is amazing and while it brings the not-always-positive subject matter that drives this blog, it's amazing and awesome and breathtaking nonetheless.
There's something miraculous about meeting that little being who inhabited you for the last 9 months
I'm so happy for them and wish them a day of easy, smooth, non-complicated labor with a pink screaming bouncing baby boy to cap it all off and start their journey as parents. Welcome to the club, friends. Enjoy the ride.
