Really Listen

I get a daily email with a quote and explaination... I look forward to it and make myself read it everyday because honestly, it's always good stuff.  Here was today's quote:

"Listen earnestly to anything [your children] want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff."

I'm not an experienced parent but I'd think this is a pretty true quote and one I intend to internalize. I just thought I'd share it bc it's a goodie!
