Summa Summa Summa Time

Anyone singing that tune with me? Will Smith? It's a good one...

Anyway, this week we've been flooded with warm days. Like 90* warm days. It's been wonderful! The week prior we had more than a week straight of rainy. Cold icky rain. So we have been soaking in the sunhine-y days!

One afternoon I decided to set up the sprinkler. We had it in the back but it was ruining out grass... FAST so I moved it out front. They are all a bit hesitant but enjoyed it nonetheless.

The boys decided it was more fun to ride in the puddles the sprinkler was making then to actually play in the sprinkler. :)

And I must add... RIP little June bike. We took a walk around the block after I took these pictures and (no lie) June's handle bars FELL OFF his bike. Then when I looked at what had happened, the front wheel fell off too. Now, I must add that I was letting Josh ride around the block, something he's never done before (he's usually pulled in the wagon). We were literally half way around the block when Josh decided he was tired. So I was already pushing Elizabeth's stroller, trying to keep Josh on the side of the road away from cars, and carrying Josh's trike when June's bike decided to spontaneously disassemble. After a moment to ponder over these 2 hunks of metal that used to be June's bike, I managed to figure out a system. I put the bike tire under Elizabeth's feet, on the foot rest. The handlebars were tucked into the back of her stroller (mind you, she was in theumbrella stroller, so no storage space whatsoever.) Then basically, I had to juggle the back end of the bike while pushing the stroller. Josh had bare feet so he was in charge of not getting hit by a car (ha! if you know Josh you can tell what a feat that was!) and keeping his feet from melting into the ground since both him and June were barefooted bc they were playing in the water before we left. June was forced to ride the trike home because I tried carrying that too and, not happening!! We made it home but I think it took us 20 minutes to make that 2nd half of the block and about 1/2 of my sanity too. But we made it home, in one piece, with all 3 kids accounted for. Oy vey!

And you see people, this is the reason I started this blog. It's stories like these that just don't happen to other people and they will be forgotten if not written down. ;) Craziness of a big family with siblings close in age, in action.

And for kicks, my princess Elle.
