June's Baby Pondering

On the way home from church today this is the conversation that June and I had:

June: "When is Eliz's birthday?" 

Me: "July 1st.  In 4 months."  (btw, in 4 months my BABY turns TWO!... yes, you read that correctly.)

June:  "Ok... so when she turns 2, is she going to get a baby?"

  

Me: "Why? What do you mean?"

June: "Well... when Josh turned 2 we already has Elizabeth so when Elizabeth turns 2, she needs a baby and it needs to be a girl."  

The way he said it made it sound like Elizabeth was missing out since we haven't lined up a younger sibling for her yet. ;)

:)  He's been asking recently about having another baby... it's been cool to see his interest.  I told him Daddy and I were trying and that God would give us a baby when he's ready.  I happened to say that during dinner the other night and he stopped and closed his eyes and prayed "Dear God, please please please give us a baby soon... and make it a girl."  :)  He said Elizabeth needs a sister because she needs a buddy. :) 

So anyway... nothing like pressure from a 5 year old. ;)
