Toyota Sienna

We did it.  We converted to van life.  I am officially a van mom.

Wanna know something?  It's really pretty nice.  I thought I would mourn the loss of my Camry (LOOOOOOOVE that car, everyone should have a Camry) and I thought I would feel like I was suddenly labelled "soccer mom."  Instead I feel spacious and free and... comfortable.  I love it.

We went to a Accura dealership a few Saturdays ago and haggled over an 06 Honda Oddyssey.  Ultimately, they wanted too much money so we walked.  We decided to look at Siennas as well and found one that looked worth a peek.  On President's Day my dad, June and I went to the dealership and test drove the van.   It was a metallic grey 04 Sienna with 89K miles on it.  It test drove well and we started the process of haggling for it.  The price was right but the bank they wanted us to go through was closed.  So we held off on sealing the deal until Wednesday morning.  As a family we drove to the dealership.  I transferred the seats as Jim signed the forms.

After that we drove her home and she's ours to keep!! :) :)  I love that van.  It has a power sliding door.  Josh *and* Elizabeth can climb in the van and into their seats independently.  June is in the 2nd row with lots of space to himself.  It's wonderful.  AND it's my absolute favorite car color. ::swoon:: :)

Meet the newest member of our family.  Hopefully she serves us well!
