I do not, at all, like the Winter months when cold reigns and indoors are always necessary. There is always extra laundry due to bulky clothes. There's coats to zip, shoes to tie, socks to remember, and frigid temperatures for little mouths to complain about. Sure there are perks to Winter, but overall, I'm a Summer girl. Growing up, I never thought I was... I always preferred Spring. Now that I have kids, getting out in Summer is my favorite. They are dressed in shorts and t's and crocs. That's it. The Summer temperatures welcome any kind of outing: water play and parks of various kinds. Schedules are open with school out, so seeing friends is easier. It's just more low-key.
