I am officially open for business!!!
Until February 2016, I am offering half off my rate for birth services while I build my client base and gain footing in the birth world. I have ordered business cards to distribute and hopefully get placed in some professionals' offices and handed out as needed. I ordered fun stickers for my interview packets. I have my graphics done and my "business branding" figured out and I'm ready to go!
Of course I am still working my way through extra labor books and have my sights set on postpartum doula training, but but but I'm so happy that my hard work paid off and I am officially a certified doula.
Not going to lie: it feels good.
Can you do me a favor? If you hear of anyone thinking about a doula or anyone hesitant about birth because of a past experience who might benefit from extra support or anyone who chats up birth with you... throw out my name? Word of mouth is how this will flourish, so flap those gums for me!! Kidding, but if you are ever talking to someone and it's natural to drop my name, please do!!
