Summer 2020 - Week 9

This week the boys travelled down to Virginia with Grandma to visit Uncle Jake, Aunt Robyn, Aunt Laura, and Uncle Kyle.  They took a bike ride into DC, had some awesome pizza, and swam in the Chesapeake Bay.  They were gone from Sunday through Tuesday and had a really good time.

While the boys were away the girls and I had a few adventures.  First up was a lemonade stand, which lasted a whopping 30 minutes and garnered 1 customer.  However, it completely eased the incessant "Can we have a lemonade stand?!" comments from Emily so I count it as a success in my book.

Next we took some time away to head to the creek.  It was a HOT day.  We had had a tropical storm come in a few days prior so the water was higher and cold... it felt completely refreshing!

Random selfie because the days where I slightly pulled together need to be documented.

Our last pocket of time with the boys away was spent heading down to an OB appointment.  HELLO 30 weeks! I met the 4th doctor in my practice, the only one I hadn't come across yet.  I liked her and feel good in this practice.  Considering I've OB-hopped a bunch after Dr. P retired, it feels good to like this practice.  (Seriously, I had one OB after him who moved to California halfway through Annie's pregnancy and switched to the practice they recommended.  They were ok, but I felt like a number so I switched to an OB practice that I respected as a doula.  They completely mishandled my last loss and so I switched to the practice I'm currently with and I'm digging them.)

After my OB appointment, we went swimming at a friend's house and had a really great time!  It was such a great time that I didn't take a single photo!

I did, however, take a walk with Tucker that evening, so here's a puppy picture instead...

Once the boys were home we rounded out the week hitting up a park one cooler morning....

Had my phone stolen for selfies....

Had my second and third iron infusion.  My dad watched the kids and brought over a baby pool.  This little pool surprisingly held a ton of fun and hours for the kids. Ha.

Annnnd we lost another tooth!  I think this is her 3rd or 4th covid tooth to lose!

Jim also had a gig Friday and Saturday night which is awesome for him.  I also had a client welcome a sweet baby into the world over that next weekend, which left me with one more client due before my maternity leave (for birth clients) started... All that led us right into week 10...
